Liane Colwell’s research interests include Gastronomy, botanical medicine, nutrition, health propaganda, and food waste reduction.
Qualifying as a PermaCulture Designer in 2011 precipitated her love of vermiculture (wormfarming) and harnessing it for apiculture. She uses data-intensive techniques to inform her vermicomposting and food waste reduction strategies at the University of Technology Sydney, giving priority to nutrition and whole-of-environment considerations.
