Hermann is a permaculture designer with the Permablitz Melbourne Designers Guild, a pool of designers that contribute to 'permablitzes', informal gatherings with the intention to achieve the creation of or addition to edible gardens, as well as sharing skills and knowledge, building community and having fun!
Hermann was drawn to permaculture after first hearing of it in a university lecture, continuing on to read about it and eventually ending up studying with David Holmgren and others.
He completed his Permaculture Design Course in 2013 with the wonderful Rick and Naomi Coleman at Southern Cross Permaculture.
