Georgina Is a founding participant of Smith Street Community Farm, And the farm manager. Smith Street is the largest Community Farm in Ōtautahi– Christchurch. As a Community farm, diversity is key to synergetic interaction people have to the space. The farm has plot holding, production gardens- CSA styled farm shares, foraging pathways, pick your own gardens, and a community nursery. Edible gardens by design function well in urban environments when access is clearly laid out and diversity is cherished. There really is so much we can learn from each other, when we come together to solve problems our solutions are vibrant and generous just like our gardens.
