Chelsea McNab is the Executive Officer of Yarra Valley ECOSS, and is also a Sustainability Officer in the role of Food Systems at Yarra Ranges Council. Chelsea is passionate about Food Security and innovative approaches for adapting to the changing climatic conditions we are currently facing. Chelsea is a mother of 3 and lives on a large Intentional Community in the Yarra Ranges on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people. Here she is actively involved in regenerative farming and has a deep understanding of the joy and the challenges in farming, community and sustainable living. Inspired by learning from First Nations communities in caring for country, Chelsea holds a dream of a future where housing and food security, cultural celebration and community support are equally accessible for all people.
