Arun is a PhD candidate at the University of South Australia, Mawson Lakes Campus, Mawson Lakes, South Australia. Arun recently submitted a PhD thesis in urban agriculture, “A Theoretical Study of Trade-offs and Synergies between Potential Economic, Environmental and Social Outcomes in Urban Agriculture”. He is passionate about sustainable Urban Agriculture system design and modelling, focusing on development divergencies. He has more than 16 years of work experience in the horticulture sector, with a particular focus on urban vegetable production, agricultural project, program and policy formulation and monitoring and evaluation. He worked as a Joint-Secretary under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Nepal.
