Kirsten is a lecturer and subject coordinator in the School of Ecosystem and Forest Science at the University of Melbourne.
Kirsten’s main areas of interest are soils, growing media, plant morphology and plant identification and classification. She has also worked as a trainee gardener with the Royal Horticultural Society at their flagship garden, Wisley, located in Surrey in the United Kingdom.
Kirsten has also been part of the research team investigating green roof substrate properties.
