Everyone loves delicious food, but it is easy for the food we buy to end up in the bin. Join chef Ben Mac from the Social Food Project for a cooking demonstration dedicated to reducing food waste at home.

Covering meal planning, food storage and being creative with left overs, this event will help you save time and money and help avoid food waste.

Part of the City of Melbourne's Love Food Hate Waste program and Sustainable Living Festival, you'll get great recipes using fresh, seasonal produce from Queen Victoria Market, handy food-saving tips and lots of delicious taste testing.

Bookings not required, for queries relating to the event please contact rebhug@melbourne.vic.gov.au.

Can't make it on the 18th? Not to worry, Ben and the Social Food project team will be back at the same venue on Friday the 24th of February from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m.
